Basic Script Story Synopsis Overview of Star Wars Episode 2 Two ii Attack of the Clones: The second episode of the Star Wars prequel trilogy focuses on the adventures of Anakin Skywalker as the Jedi padawan learner of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Attack of the Clones is important because Anakin Skywalker loses his mother Shmi Skywalker during the Star Wars 2 movie. With the previous loss of Qui-Gon Jinn at the end of Star Wars Episode 1 i One The Phantom Menace, the two individuals, who could have potentially prevented Anakin Skywalker's fall to the dark side, are now deceased.
Furthermore, Attack of the Clones features the first battle of the Clone Wars between the Separatist droid military and the clone troops of the Old Republic. This film episode is the only main Star Wars film to showcase a fight involving hundreds of Jedi Knights.
At the end of Attack of the Clones, the secret marriage between Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala takes place with the droids C3PO See Threepio and R2D2 Artoo Detoo as the witnesses.
Role of Darth Sidious: During Attack of the Clones, the audience sees more of the Sith conspiracy revealed. Darth Sidious orchestrated the creation of a grand clone army in order so that Emperor Palpatine would have an invincible military force to crush the hopes and dreams of all citizens of the Star Wars galaxy. Darth Sidious also sets in motion the beginning of the Clone Wars at the Battle of Geonosis.
With much patience, Darth Sidious gains more and more control over all facets of the Old Republic civilization. Even though Obi-Wan Kenobi learns of the Sith influence in the Star Wars galaxy, the Jedi are unable to stop the inevitable progression of the Sith conspiracy, which leads to the destruction of the Old Republic itself and the complete extinction of the Jedi Order.
Role of Darth Tyranus Count Dooku: After the demise of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace and then after the end of Darth Rage, Darth Sidious sought out the former Jedi Master Count Dooku to become the next Sith apprentice. At first, Count Dooku was reluctant to turn to the dark side of the Force.
However, given Darth Sidious was the greatest political and military genius in the history of the galaxy, it was not difficult for Darth Sidious to convince Count Dooku that the Sith Lords were the only means to save the Old Republic from continual ruin.
As a result, Count Dooku obtained the title of Darth Tyranus from Darth Sidious. Not a single person other than Darth Sidious knew the fact that Count Dooku had become a Sith.
The Separatists unwittingly allowed Count Dooku to be their leader even though the Sith were orchestrating the ultimate defeat of the Separatists at the hands of what would become the mighty Imperial military, which would seem to be invincible until the rise of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.
However, not even Darth Tyranus realized the full scope of the Sith conspiracy. In the final examination, Darth Tyranus would be betrayed by Darth Sidious at the start of Star Wars Episode 3 Three iii Revenge of the Sith.
