Sith Apprentice Betrayal: While training in the dark arts of the Sith on the planet named Skaggis, Darth Plagueis sliced off Darth Imperius' arms and further cut Darth Imperius in half from head to hip, then ended Darth Imperius permanently with a Force tornado. Darth Imperius perished at the age of 52 years old.
Additional Interesting Info: On the planet called Dresdane, Darth Frordon arranged a final showdown duel between his Sith apprentice Darth Baltimort and the potential replacement, who would eventually be called Darth Imperius. In a stunning reversal, Darth Baltimort and Darth Imperius joined together and ended the reign of Darth Frordon. As the current Sith apprentice, Darth Baltimort ascended to the rank of Sith Master while Darth Imperius became the new Sith apprentice.
